CHAILEY PARISH SURVEY 2009


Chailey Parish Council and Action in rural Sussex are conducting a survey of Chailey’s  residents to find out views on access to rural services and village planning and design matters. We need your views to ensure that any decisions on rural services reflect local priorities and that residents’ preferences are incorporated in the Village Design Statement.


Please take time to complete a questionnaire survey by following the stages described below:

If you have not already registered with this community website please do so by clicking on ‘Log on’ above, then click on ‘New users register here’ and complete a simple input form. You will then be sent an e-mail with your User ID and password ready for you to log on as a community wesbsite user. Then, to complete a questionnaire log on using your new User ID and pasword then click on the ‘Chailey Parish Survey’ box on the left hand navigation bar.

If you have already registered and have a User ID and password please log on and then click on the ‘Chailey Parish Survey’ box on the left hand navigation bar.

 

At the top of the questionnaire you have the options of submitting the  whole questionnaire or you may save a partially completed questionniare for completion at a  later point in time when you log on again.

The questionnaires should be completed and returned by 31st July 2009. The results of the survey will be provided in the September issue of Chailey News and will also be reported on this website.

 

Paper copies of the questionnaire will be available at various locations in the village in July for residents without Internet access.

THE CHAILEY COMMUNITY WEBSITE

This community website provides details of news and events within Chailey and information on a wide range of topics including clubs and societies, local history, local council services, consultations, outdoor recreation and tourist attractions within and near to the parish of Chailey.


See the monthly parish newsletter 'Chailey News' which is distributed free to residents and which is available from South Chailey Stores and from St Peter's Church, Chailey Green. Events also appear in the Chailey 'Parish Pump' article in the weekly Sussex Express and Mid Sussex Times.

 

Come and visit Chailey Windmill, the Bluebell Railway and Sheffield Park Gardens and enjoy the heathland of Chailey Commons. Learn about Chailey's history including Chailey in the Great War, Chailey Airfield in WWII, Chailey Heritage and the conservation areas of St George's and Chailey Green with St Peter's 13th Century Church.
