East Sussex County Council (ESCC) and Ibstock Brick Ltd are currently undertaking a review of the planning conditions attached to the consents for the Chailey site. This is a Periodic Review of the previous minerals permissions and will result in up to date planning conditions for working and restoration of the site relevant to modern environmental standards. In addition to the statutory locations directed by East Sussex County Council, Ibstock has made available a copy of the Environmental Statement and Non Technical Summary for inspection at the offices of Chailey brickworks (10am to 4pm) during the consultation period which runs to 19.3.2010. Details of the review have been circulated by Ibstock Brick Ltd to 37 properties in the vicinity of the Chailey site. The parish council’s representation will be discussed at the meeting of the Chailey Planning & Environs Committee on
